Small Village has became a holiday haven. Not long ago, Hurghada was small fishing village with just two hotels and nice beaches. BUt, it was destined to become big holiday center with unbeliveable beauty, resources and magnificent coral reefs.
Today, Hurghada has eveolved into one of the world's finest tourist resorts, offering watersports, activities, nightlife with perfect weather all year long, not just during the November to April peak season.

The town is split in three main areas:
Al-Dahar - first residental area, Sakala - new town center, and resort area, where all the new, mostly five-star resorts stretch up long the read to Safaga. Sheraton street, one of the oldest main roads in Hurghada, is famous for it's lively nightspots.

There are many things to do in Hurghada, although many prefer sunning in perfect sunshine. Dry weather, nice temperature even in December makes complete pleasure.

If you wanna visit Sharm El Sheikh or Duba, Saudi Arabia, you can catch ferry from the old port of Sakala. Ferries are operated by Travco (Phone: (065) 445037 / 445423) and you can catch luxury high-speed ferry to Sharm for 100 L.E. (around 15 USD).

Snorkeling is very popular among tourists. The most excursions takes you to the Giftun islands, a Red Sea protectorate. Usualy, trips start at 8:30 AM, and returns at 4:30 PM. Lunch buffet is included as well as hour long guided snorkeling trip. Offer starts at 50 USD but we recommend booking with your friends which usualy lowers the price. Island trips are great way to explore rich coral life on Shedwan, Shaab El/Erg, Shaab Abu Ramada, Careless Reef and Abu Rimata (called aquarium) or simply laze on island beaches such as Abu Munqar, Didhet El-Dhaba, Sharm El-Arab...

If you like fishing, you can venture into deeper waters of Gobal, Towal for some serious deep sea fishing.

Hurghada is famouos by it's diving places. There are many famous PADI certified centers where you can learn how to dive or visit one of the best reefs in the world.

You can also paraglide, parasky, bannana ride or go to hot-air-balooning.
Desert safari is very nice and you can choose jeep ride, 4-wheel quads, camels or horses. Safari operators offer from half day to 4/5 days. On the most trips, you will get a chance to visit a Bedouin camp and feel the life in desert.

If you want to experience life in the sea without getting wet, you can go to submarine for 50 USD. You will go 22 meters deep in 300 meters ride visiting fishes, corals and sinked ships.
